Step 2: Invite Respondents to Register for Indeemo
When you add the email addresses to the dashboard, the Indeemo Dashboard does not send an automatic invite to the Respondents, you or the recruiter will need to do this via email external or separately to Indeemo.
Our experience is that Researchers prefer to choose how and when they activate Respondents and as a result we do not automatically invite Respondents when they are added to the system.
Clicking on the 'Respondent Email Template' button (as shown below) will display sample text which has the steps respondents need to follow as well as the register link that they all need.
You can copy & paste this, customise it as you need to and then you or the recruiter can send it when you are ready to onboard the Respondents.
Multiple languages of this template are available.
Step 3: Respondents Register & Download the Indeemo App

Adding & Inviting Respondents using Anonymous Emails
In studies of a sensitive nature, Indeemo can assign you a series of @indeemo.email emails.
The reason why we create the emails is because:
- We can guarantee they have not been used before
- We can handle password resets if needed
How do they work?
- Indeemo assigns you a series of @indeemo.email emails.
- You/ your recruiter in turn assign these to your respondents. Respondents use this email to register and log in to your project.
This negates the need for respondent personal details to be added to the Indeemo Dashboard.
If you as moderator will have access to participant email addresses anyway, then it is unlikely you would need anonymous email addresses.
Step 1: Request the list of @indeemo.email emails
[email protected] sends the emails in the same confirmation email where they confirm the project is set up and ready.
If you are setting up the project yourself or you have not received the emails from Support, please email them at [email protected].
Step 2: Add the @indeemo.email emails to the relevant Target Groups
When you are ready to add the @indeemo.email emails to your project, please click on the “Add Respondents” button.
In the popup that appears:
1. Click on “Choose Project” to select your project
2. Click on “Choose Target Group” to select the Target group you wish to add the emails to.
3. Paste in the @indeemo.email emails. Ensure that each email address appears on a separate line in the text input field.
4. Clicking on the “Add” button will add the email addresses to the chosen Target on Indeemo.
Respondents will not receive an invitation email.

You can copy / paste this, customise it as you need to and then you or the recruiter can send it when you are ready to onboard the Respondents.

FAQ
What if a respondent shows in the green 'Registered' status as soon as their email is added to the project (before they have been invited)?
This indicates that they already have an Indeemo account so the instructions for them would be to:
1. Log out from the Indeemo App.
2. Delete the Indeemo App fully
3. Re-install the Indeemo App: indeemo.com/download
4. Log back into the App
What if a respondent is already associated with a previous research project?
If you receive the below message, it means that the respondent is currently linked to another live and ongoing project on Indeemo
Unfortunately, an email address can be connected to only one project at a given time.
The Respondent Onboarding Experience
