Top Tips for Creating Your Recruit

How does it work?

Create a New 'Recruit'

Create and Publish your Recruit/ Screener. This is a series of criteria the respondents should match, as well as screener questions relevant to your project.

Applicants complete the Screener

Applicants that fit your recruitment criteria will be shown your screener.

When someone completes your screener, they will appear in your 'Recruitment' view for you to review.

Managing Applicants

Review Applicants & invite them to take part in your Indeemo projects.

Pay Incentives

Once a respondent has completed all their tasks, you will pay their incentive via 'Recruitment' view.

Top Tips for Creating Your Recruit

A Recruit is Indeemo’s term for a Screener. It includes:

  • Internal and respondent-facing details

  • Audience criteria (used to match against respondent profiles)

  • Screener questions

  • A summary of the Recruit

Use Recruits Strategically
You can:

  • Create one Recruit for your whole Indeemo project

  • Or, set up separate Recruits for each target group or segment you plan to recruit

Plan for Splits Early
Need a specific breakdown (e.g. 50% WFH, 50% in-office)?
Create separate Recruits for each group

  • This ensures clean, targeted recruitment and simpler quota management.

Timing Is Key
Start recruiting 1–2 days before you want to begin fieldwork.
For niche audiences, allow up to 1 week to recruit fully.

Hold Off on Sending Invites
Wait to invite all respondents until you've recruited your full required number — this helps avoid starting fieldwork prematurely.

Flexibility Post-Publish
You can edit a live Recruit at any time — whether tightening or loosening criteria to improve your match rate.
