When recruiting for your Indeemo project, smartphone requirements and some level of tech savviness need to be screened for.
Please see below details that we recommend you share with your recruiter/ field agent.
1. Smartphone Specifications
(a) Screen for the right Smartphone and Operating Systems
Because Indeemo is an App, there are smartphone specification requirements to ensure the Indeemo App will run seamlessly for your respondents.
Respondents must have:
- iPhone X or above running iOS 16 and above
- Android running Android 12 and above
The above OS requirements also apply to Android tablets and iPads.

(b) Screen for some level of tech savviness
We also advise that you screen for some level of tech savviness e.g. “Do you use Facebook or WhatsApp”.
If they do, they will have no problem using the Indeemo App.
(c) Do NOT mention Indeemo in the screener
DO NOT mention Indeemo by name in your screener. Just say that they will need to install a “Mobile App”. This prevents Respondents from downloading the Indeemo app before the project goes live.
All the information they need to register for the project and install the app is included in the invitation email you will send them once the project is set up.
