Videos can be uploaded from MS Teams, Zoom or your Computer.
The dashboard will accept .mp4, .mov, .mp3, .aiff, .flac, .m4a, .acc and .ac3 files up to a maximum size of 2GB.
Depending on the type of project you are importing to (please find more on this here), please choose one of the following and follow the steps:
In-The-Moment/ Indeemo App project
When using this feature as part of an In-The-Moment/ Indeemo App project, an extra task appears on your project called “Imported video”.
The video file is assigned to this task, to help you identify it, and filter on it via the Task filter.
- This task is not visible for the Respondent.
- Comments on these imported videos are not sent to the respondent.
Step 1: Click on 'Import Video' on the top right of the dashboard
Step 2: Select the Project, Target Group and Respondent
Only Registered Respondents will appear in the 'Choose Respondent' list.
Step 3: Choose the location of the file and import it.
Please note that you can only import one file at a time.
Click on 'Import' and wait until the file is imported. It could take up to 10 min for large files (it could take up to 10 min for large files).
Video Import project
Step 1: Click on 'Import Video' on the top right of the dashboard
Step 2: You will be prompted to add a new respondent profile, or select a profile you already created on this project.
Step 3: Choose the location of the file and import it.
Please note that you can only import one file at a time.
Click on 'Import' and wait until the file is imported. It could take up to 10 min for large files (it could take up to 10 min for large files).
Importing from Microsoft Teams
You can import Microsoft Teams recordings from your Microsoft Teams account.
After choosing, your Project, Target Group and Respondent, the next step will be connecting your Microsoft Teams account.
Click on “Connect to Microsoft Teams” button.
- Select your account if you are already connected from your browser or enter your account email address and then your password.
- You can decide to stay signed in or not.
- Once connected you’ll have access to your Microsoft Teams’ folder.
- Select the video you want to import.
- If you see a failed thumbnail, please retry by following the flow above again.

I cannot connect my Microsoft Teams Account
If you don’t manage to connect to your Microsoft teams account and you are stuck in a login loop, please follow the steps from Microsoft here: Teams web client is stuck in a login loop - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn
You’ll have to add the URLs for Microsoft Teams to the list of sites that your browser should trust.
I don’t see all my videos when I select Microsoft Teams
If you don’t see all your videos on Indeemo lightbox, please disconnect from your Microsoft Teams account on Indeemo and reconnect.
The import is taking some time
For large files, video and transcription and OCR could take some time to appear. You can leave the screen, continue working on Indeemo or come back to the dashboard later. Don’t disconnect your account.
Microsoft Teams connection screen does not appear in the same screen
If you are using a full screen view in Chrome for Mac, Microsoft Teams connection screen will open in a new tab and could potentially fail to log you in. Please avoid connecting Microsoft Teams in full view mode.
Importing from Zoom
You can import Zoom recordings from your Zoom account.
- From the Indeemo Dashboard, go to 'Connected Accounts' from the hamburger menu (top right)
- Connect to your Zoom Account (Image below)
- Once connected, go back to the dashboard. Then click on the “Import Video” button.
- After choosing your Project, Target Group and Respondent, click on "Select from Zoom"
- You’ll see the list of your Zoom files from your connected account.
- Select one of your file (less than 2GB) and click on 'import'
- You’ll see a temporary thumbnail that will appear for several minutes, depending on the size of your video.
- You can refresh your screen and see your imported video.
Disconnecting your Accounts
If you want to disconnect your account or select another account:
- Click on the Main Menu (Hamburger Menu) in the top right corner of your Indeemo Dashboard
- Click “Connected Account”
- Click on Disconnect on the relevant connected account.
